Welcome to events focusing on food systems’ sustainability, in Helsinki 26–28 May 2025

We are organizing a series of three interlinked events

Monday 26 May morning you are welcome to participate the Results Seminar of Strategic Research Programme Towards a Sustainable, Healthy and Climate-Neutral Food System (FOOD). This seminar pulls together the key results from the three large research consortia of the programme from 2019–2025, and discusses these in the context of sustainability transition of Finnish food systems. Please notice that this event is in Finnish.

The events continue in English:

Monday afternoon 26 May you are welcome to Nordic and Baltic Food Policy Forum, which deals with the currently so urgent themes of securing sustainable food security in turbulent times.

Tuesday and Wednesday 27–28 May you are welcome to continue in the Nordic Baltic Food Systems Conference “Challenging intersections: Securing sustainable food systems in turbulent times”. Both researchers working on sustainable food systems, as well as other actors in the food system, including businesses, non-governmental actors and public sector representatives are welcome.

The Monday events are free of charges. To the Tuesday and Wednesday activities of the research conference there is a fee.
